Instructions: Reviewing WisdomCards
The following instructions assume you have created a Physician Review Account, received your welcome letter, and read all of the instructions at Getting Started.
Step 1: Begin your review by selecting a WisdomCard from WisdomCards™ Awaiting Physician Review.
Step 2: Click on Review this WisdomCard to claim your WisdomCard topic. This will lock the WisdomCard for 48 hours and prevent other physicians from claiming the same one.
Step 3: Begin reviewing your WisdomCard. Each link on the WisdomCard must meet our Quality Standards.
We want you to use your expertise and knowledge base to ensure that all pertinent information and relevant websites are included and presented in an organized fashion.
Please include very specific information on what you would like to see changed/added/deleted. What would it take to make this page one you would recommend to your patients?
Remove links that contain information that is incorrect, unsafe, or potentially dangerous.
Suggest better links/articles. Typical deficiencies have to do with links to sites or articles that are not current or relate incorrect/controversial information.
Please provide additional links to include relevant information that you feel is missing. Suggest other Related Searches from a reasonable differential diagnosis (the Fibromyalgia WisdomCard might have Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Hypothyroidism, and Depression as related searches).
While you are reviewing your WisdomCard in your browser, we suggest that you save your comments in a word document. We have found that this is the easiest way to record and save your comments while you proceed with your review.
Step 4: Once you have finished reviewing the WisdomCard, cut and paste your comments from your word document into the Discussion Box by clicking on Discuss This WisdomCard (located on the middle of the right column of the WisdomCard). The Discussion Box is used to communicate with the Guide and Guide Reviewer. At the end of your review, you MUST WRITE:
- (a) I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WISDOMCARD TO MY PATIENTS
- OR
- (b) IF THE SUGGESTED CHANGES ARE MADE, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WISDOMCARD TO MY PATIENTS.
Step 5: Notify the guide of your comments by clicking, Return to Guide. If you feel that no changes are necessary then click Approve to Publish.
You can check the status of your WisdomCards by checking your personal profile Dashboard at anytime. Just log into the Guide site and check your profile page. You will be emailed a weekly email alert to check your dashboard, but you should check this page frequently to monitor the status of your WisdomCards.
Step 6: Our physician review team will evaluate your first WisdomCard review and provide feedback within 2 days. After your first WisdomCard review has been approved, you may select up to 5 WisdomCard topics at a time from the WisdomCards Awaiting for Physician Review.
Step 7: Select more topics from our WisdomCards Awaiting Physician Review page. Once your first WisdomCard has been approved, you can select up to 5 WisdomCard topics at a time. If there are particular health topics for which you would like to create WisdomCards, and they are not on our list and not on the LIVE site, please let us know.
We pay Physician Reviewers for each reviewed and approved WisdomCard. Payments are sent via direct deposit once per month.
The Dashboard will also list all of your WisdomCards that have been accepted and approved. You will be paid via direct deposit on our next pay cycle. Learn how to get paid here.
If you have questions during the process or are not seeing your WisdomCards show up properly on your Dashboard after submitting your WisdomCards, please contact us immediately at physicians <at> organizedwisdom <dot> com.
