Scientists have found a safer way to diagnose Down syndrome and other genetic disorders. Currently, there are only two ways for a woman to find out her baby's genetic health. Amniocentesis, which carries with it a risk of miscarriage, and just not finding out until after the birth of the child. This new test only requires a small blood sample from the pregnant woman.
