I just got diagnosed with ADD and Manic Bipolar. My doctor out me on Adderall and Lithium. I started the adderall by itself first and it worked well. Then a few days later i started the lithium, i noticed that the adderall was not as affective. I read that lithium can make adderall less effective. I stopped taking the lithium and i am meeting with my doctor this week coming to find a new bipolar medicine.
