Dr Taub graduated from Clark University with a degree in biology and then completed dental school at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dr Taub continued his medical education and received his MD from Jefferson Medical College in 2004. Dr Taub is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and is licensed to practice dentistry in both Pennsylvania and New York.
Dr Taub is certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Medical Society, Academy of Osseointegration, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and many other professional organizations. Dr Taub has volunteered with Operation Smile since 1995 and was named Operation Smile volunteer of the Year in 2008.
