- Dr. Creswell is originally from Norfolk, Virginia. After medical school, Dr. Creswell completed his residency at Washington University School of Medicine where he eventually joined the faculty of the Department of Surgery. Dr. Creswell has served as a guest reviewer for Annals of Thoracic Surgery, Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and Doody Book reviews. His research interests and procedures include arrhythmias, heart surgery, coronary artery bypass, heart valve replacement/repair, aortic surgery, heart transplantation and general thoracic surgery. Dr. Creswell joined the faculty at UMMC in 2003.
