Bio

Dr. Streicher is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago.  Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, she completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University’s medical school, The Feinberg School of Medicine. 

Considered a thought leader in her field, Dr. Streicher has appeared in numerous national and local media outlets discussing all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  In 1992, she was a member of the WBBM Health Team with weekly appearances. Dr. Streicher has participated multiple times on Chicago Tonight panel discussions and has appeared on The McNeil Lehrer Hour, ABC News Now, 20/20, and World News Tonight. She hosted The Answered Patient Series and appeared weekly on NBC’s In The Loop with iVillage. She is currently hosting “Advances in Women’s Health” on XM157, the station for medical professionals.
