Lantus Help - TuDiabetes

For the last two months my BG levels will not come down from 225-250. They previously were under 100. My food intake and exercise has not changed. Just switched to Levimir... need help with dosage adjustment - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “Hello my frds!Was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 3years ago, the 1st two years was on Lantus/humalog treatment and then been on a pump for more then a year but due to my lifestyle i stopped the pump and im back to the traditional treatment, but using Levimir/Novorapid now.Im 25 & my weight is 73kg.I started Levemir 3days ago with 2 shots per day. Controlling My Diabetes: Bad Insulin or Insulin Resistance - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “For about a month I have been having serious problems controlling my blood sugars. They go from normal in the morning, but them completely spikes up in the afternoon. I am checking my blood sugars four times a day. I take 30 units Lantus in the morning and then again at night. How did your endo convert you from MDI to Pumping - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.com — “I have been wanting to make the jump to the Pump. My Dr has been working with me to change my MDI for about six months. He has been changing my Lantus, changing my I:c ratios and so on. How exactly does your endo make the transition? He tells me everytime, I would do better on a pump.
