I believe that optimal health starts with the activity that you do every day—eat. That the food we put into our bodies should fuel and nourish instead of deprive and weigh down. More importantly, that every individual has the power to reach and maintain a state of optimal wellness. But, it’s more than just about food. It’s about living your best life, loving yourself, discovering what brings you true happiness, and thriving in the world that’s around you. You have the power to create the best, healthiest, and happiest you there is. It’s my job to help you find that “best” you.
So–why should you listen to me? Who is this curly blonde-haired, quirky chick? Well, I’m a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a Masters in Nutrition from Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. And, I got my Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences from Boston University’s Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. As you can see, the education is there. But, that’s not all that helps me push clients, motivate audiences, or spice-up writing. That comes from doing what I love–empowering folks to lead a healthy lifestyle.
If you’re seeing me for counseling, yes, I will challenge. I will bring you to your limits. But, that’s the goal–to get you results. Everything I do is tailored to you. No gimmicks, no “easy outs,” no pills or potions. I’m here to change your life. The question is–are you ready?
Today, I counsel, speak, frequent media spots, and write about health, wellness, and nutrition in the San Francisco Bay Area. I specialize in weight loss, sports nutrition, and disordered eating. And love every minute of it!
In addition to counseling, you’ll fine me obsessing over social media and blogging. And when I’m not all “in the nutrition world,” you’ll find me lifting weights, running, or doing a Jillian Michaels workout (I’m obsessed!); enjoying one of San Francisco’s cozy coffee shops, reading one of my favorite magazines, Elle, Women’s Health, Allure, or US Weekly (yea…I know); buzzing around my family or friends; or attempting to cook a really fancy meal.
