As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and full practitioner paediatric neuropsychologist, Jonathan Reed has 17 years experience as a psychologist and 14 years specialised experience in child neuropsychology. He has worked as a senior paediatric neuropsychologist at Guy's Hospital London and as a specialist Paediatric neuropsychologist at the Royal London Hospital. He has also held positions in child development, child mental health services and was a researcher on the National Traumatic Brain Injury Study.
Jonathan is very interested in using the latest research in developmental neuroscience to help children with neurological and neurodevelopment conditions. He has edited an international textbook on child neuropsycholgy together with his colleague Jody Warner Rogers (Reed and Warner Rogers; Child Neuropsychology Concepts Theory and Practice: Wiley Blackwell, 2008). He has arranged several national conferences on child neuropsychology attracting international speakers. He has extensive experience of assessing and treating children with neurological conditions and children who have suffered abuse and neglect. He lectures throughout the UK.
