Childrens Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) was founded in 1988 by dedicated parents, physicians and friends. Our mission is to improve the treatment, quality of life and the long term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research, support, education, and advocacy to families and survivors. Our website, www.cbtf.org, provides information on resources for brain & spinal cord tumor survivors or current patients, parents & relatives, and health care professionals; offers support & advocacy outlets to those affected; identifies sources of research in the field; connects volunteers; and has awarded over $5.5 million in grants to scientific research and to facilitate events for brain & spinal cord tumor survivors.
