Teachers, day care providers, and babysitters should be given instructions regarding the use and care of a nebulizer when they will be in charge of a child with asthma. All caregivers should also be given a copy of the child's asthma action plan. Parents may wish to provide caregivers with information regarding tips to help calm a child who is undergoing nebulizer treatments.
