- Santa Rosa plastic surgeon Dr. Francisco Canales was educated and trained at two of the most prestigious academic institutions in the country: Harvard College and Stanford University. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors at Harvard College in 1978, he then completed his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1982. Dr. Canales was particularly interested in plastic surgery and elected to take on additional surgical training and received a Plastic Surgery Residency at Stanford University Hospital.
