Sleep Disorders 101: Melatonin Safety
Is melatonin safe to take every night?

Again, I go back to the reason why you are having problems sleeping. It is highly unlikely that you have a
melatonin deficiency. Melatonin, like anything else, can only be considered a temporary Band-Aid while looking for the root of the problem. If taken properly, meaning at the right dosage and the right time, it can be quite effective. But just like long-term use of
sleep aids, it must be monitored.
