Vinay A Shah, MD
Dr Shah is the Editor for the Retina/Vitreous Section of the Eye Wiki, a new component of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He serves as the senior editor in international ophthalmology for "Pearls in Ophthalmology". He commenced his American training by doing a post doc fellowship in vitreo-retina diseases and a surgical internship at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. In 2006 he completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at The University of Iowa, one of the top ophthalmology departments in the world. Subsequently he completed his residency at the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2009 where he was honored with being selected as a resident Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). Dr Shah has over sixty five peer reviewed publications and book chapters in ophthalmology.
