The upcoming Solo Pump from Medingo - Anyone testing them yet??? - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “I've been MDI for 1 year now. Was diagnosed last Jan. I've kept very good AIC values all year long. From 5.1 to 5.4. But I fight morning highs almost every day. And I travel for my job about 90% of the time. So I've thought about moving to a pump. But I just don't want to hassle with the tubes. I wear the Dexcom 7+ sensor now. And I've become used to something stuck to me for 7 or more days at a time. And I was interested in the OmniPod at one point. But it just looked too big and I didn't like View full resource at tudiabetes.org

Stereotyping - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “I was just in the hospital for an insulin overdose given by my allergy doctor. My endo did not participate at that hospital, so I had to have another visit me. She took one look at me (chubby, not the typical Type 1 thin) and started hollering that I couldn't be Type 1 and that she wanted to see my c-peptide and antibody tests! Grrr! Not all Type 1s are thin, Doc! I don't think my own endocrinologist would be so incompetant as to diagnose me Type 1 if I wasn't. It was insulting, to say the leastView full resource at tudiabetes.org
