I am a board certified general surgeon with fellowship training in surgical research and surgical oncology.
In addition to an active, busy, clinical practice, I also serve as the Director of the Atlantic Melanoma Center, a clinical and research Center of Excellence located in Morristown, New Jersey. Each year, the Atlantic Melanoma Center (far and away the regional dominant market leader) treats 100s of patients newly diagnosed with malignant melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer. We also participate in multiple national and international clinical research trials for advanced melanoma involving a variety of novel treatment agents. We continue to initiate our own clinical research as well, leading to publications and presentations around the world.
My other clinical specialty is endocrine surgery, principally involving the thyroid and parathyroid glands. I currently operate at Morristown Memorial Hospital and Overlook Hospital (Summit, NJ).
