Elizabeth Donovan, M.A., is a psychotherapist and Psychology Today columnist/blogger living in Washington D.C. Her work, which covers topics related to children and adolescents, has appeared in magazines and online media outlets including BabyTalk, Parents, CNN and Parenting. She works with adolescent patients specializing in behavioral disorders, PTSD and sexual abuse. She is currently writing a book on teen rape and recovery.
Ms. Donovan has spent over two decades treating adolescents and their families and advocating for victims rights. In 2007 she founded Parenting Pink, (http://parentingpink.com) a site dedicated to helping parents raise strong, resilient girls.
