Dr. Paul Farmer is an American anthropologist and physician specializing in infectious diseases. He is a Presley Professor of Medical Anthropology at Harvard University and an attending physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He is also one of the the founders of Partners in Health, an international health and social justice organization.
