Dr. Harold S. Koplewicz is the founder and director of the NYU Child Study Center.¹ It is dedicated to increasing the awareness of child mental health issues, expanding scientific knowledge, and improving the treatment of child psychiatric disorders.² His research and publications have focused on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders, and he has been at the forefront of public education to dispel the myths and stigma surrounding mental and emotional disorders of children and adults.²
