Bernie Siegel, who founded Exceptional Cancer Patients (EcaP) in 1978, is a world-renowned physician, author, motivational speaker, and advocate for persons struggling with chronic illnesses. He attended Colgate University and graduated with honors from Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Siegel authored several books on the relationship of the patient and the healing process and he lectures in the medical and spiritual communities.
