- Dr Prince founded, North Shore Nephrology in 2002 after completion of his residency and fellowship at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. His post graduate training also included time spent at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Kidney transplant training at the Rogosin Institute - New York Hospital, Cornell.
Dr. Prince is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as a diplomat in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He has completed extra certification as a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension, by the American Society of Hypertension. Also, he has gained recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN).
Additionally, Dr. Prince is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the NSLIJ-Hofstra School of Medicine and has won accolades for teaching medical students and residents at the local hospitals. In 2009 Dr Prince became the youngest ever President of the Medical Staff at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset and in 2010, Dr Prince was named the Medical Director of the newly established Queens Long Island Renal Institute. Dr Prince is also the President and CEO of Beacon IPA, established in the Summer of 2010 and was recognized by Long Island Business News becoming a recipient of the prestigious ‘40 Under 40’ award.
