Dr. Collins is assistant professor of Clinical Medicine, Georgetown University Medical Center, associate program director for the fellowship program for the Division of Rheumatology at Washington Hospital Center and an attending rheumatologist.  In addition to his academic clinical practice, he staffs the lupus clinic and the general arthritis clinic. His primary areas of expertise are in lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and connective tissue disease, and he is actively engaged in clinical research, including studies in various rheumatic diseases as well as medical education.
