    Joyce Harrell, RN, OCN

Who is Joyce Harrell? I am a wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, nurse, writer, wellness coach, motivational speaker, educator, minister, and business woman. So, is that REALLY who I am? No! Those are only words to describe functions, roles, duties, or relationships. Who I am is outgoing, full of life, creative, funny, spiritual, natural, motivated, and I have a desire to live my life in fullness of purpose! I have a desire to see you live your best life; full of purpose.
For years I have been a sugar and fast food addict. My addiction started because of emotional eating and poor self esteem that came from years of verbal bullying in high school by a group of peers. I was 5’9” tall and very thin in 7th grade and endured years of teasing that started on the school bus and continued at school and even church. I remember baking chocolate cakes and eating almost a whole cake by myself in 2 days just because I was trying to gain weight.  Whatever your reason is for food addiction and overeating can be overcome by dealing with those negative mind tapes that continue to now play in your head.
I REALLY understand your struggle! What you need to understand is YOU ARE NOT ALONE! It is amazing what negative mind tapes we have and are not even aware! The emotional pain I felt for years left me never feeling good enough. I had feelings of low self esteem and unworthiness. NO LONGER!
