Medications in Pregnancy Drug Category B are considered to be relatively safe to use during pregnancy.1 Drugs in this category have shown little or no effects in animal studies.2 Pregnancy Drug Category B medications may have also been tested for safety in human pregnant women, and were found to be safe.2
