Research Notes on Cancer Screening for Women
Women who are at risk for developing certain cancers should have regular check-up and screening. Several major medical organizations have recommended screening methods for women. These include mammography for breast cancer, Pap test for cervical cancer and fecal occult blood test (FOBT) for colorectal cancer. Early detection can increase treatment success of certain cancers.
