Caffeine is a stimulant drug that acts on the brain and nervous system. Caffeine is found in coffee, tea, cocoa, chocolate bars, cola soft drinks and energy drinks. It is possible to become dependent on caffeine and suffer withdrawal symptoms. Pregnant women, athletes and children may choose to limit their intake of caffeine.
