Delayed Stomach Issues with Byetta - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “I started Byetta about two and a half weeks and was thankful that I didn't experience any side effects. Well, I guess the honeymoon is over because I've been nauseous for the last 3 days. And today it felt like there was a campfire burning in my stomach. TUMS and other antacids were no help either. We'll see how the rest of the week goes.View full resource at tudiabetes.org

Taking Byetta without a Meal - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “So for I've started Intermittent Fasting(IF)once a week to lose a bit of fat. But on those days, I only eat one meal. The instructions mildly suggest that you take Byetta before a meal. The information I've seen says that the effect is wasted if you don't eat. I've never had any problem with nausea, so I'll usually just take the full Byetta during my IF day anyway even though I am not eating, usually taking my morning dose withouta meal.
