Raised and educated in London, England, "Dr C" is a graduate of the University of London where he received his bachelor of science degree in Advanced Anatomy and Morphology prior to completing his medical degree. In 1997 , Dr. C moved from London to South Texas. Apparently this was "in search of a better climate". He continued his training in general surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio prior to his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has also completed fellowships in burn surgery and burn reconstruction at Shriner's Burn Hospital for Children in Galveston, and hand surgery and microsurgery at the Indiana Hand Center.
