Bio

Dr. Andrew Kaczynski was born in Venezuela where his father was stationed with Standard Oil as an engineer in the Amazon. After living in Venezuela, the family briefly moved to Canada and then to Southern California. He subsequently lived in Berkeley where he went to college and graduated with honors while competing as the number one Saber Fence on the fencing team. He then went to U.C. Davis where he graduated from medical school with honors in surgery and psychiatry. This combination of skills allows him to visualize his patient’s problems as well as understand their psychological concerns. He continued his general surgery at UC Davis and then was admitted to the prestigious residency at UCLA. During his residency he was taught by many of the surgeons in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. 

When he finished his residency he was recruited back to Sacramento where he was Chief of Plastic Surgery at Kaiser. While there he performed hundreds of facial, breast and body reconstructions which provided the basic framework for his cosmetic practice. In 1986 he started his private practice specializing in cosmetic surgery and has traveled all over the world to learn directly from the doctors who invented certain procedures. He has studied with Dr. Illouz and Fournier (liposuction in France) Dr. Benelli (breast lifts in France), Dr.Toledo and Gasparotti (superficial liposuction in Brazil and Italy), Dr. Connell and Flowers (facelift and brow lift in the United States), and most recently Dr. Millard and Hoyos (Vaser Hi Def in the United States and Columbia).
