- Dr. Seay realized early in life that her artistic talent, passion for medicine and excellence in science would be fundamental to her career in dentistry. Striving to be at the top of the dental profession, she chose to attend one of the most respected dental schools in the nation.
Dr. Seay completed her studies at New York University’s College of Dentistry (NYUCD), known for being one of the most state of the art and advanced dental schools.
Since graduating from NYUCD in 2002, Dr. Seay has continued to expand her base of dental knowledge and skill by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education and advanced training at the most prestigious dental institutions across the country. In fact, the state of South Carolina requires that dentists complete 28 hours of continuing education every two years.
In the past two years, Dr. Seay has completed 493 hours of advanced study. In her private practice, Dr. Seay strives to improve the health and well-being of all patients through relationship-based, complete and comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Seay is committed to incorporating advanced knowledge which addresses the changing challenges within the dental profession.
Additionally, Dr. Seay participates in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's "Give Back A Smile" program for victims of domestic violence and volunteers for various charitable outreach programs such as Our Lady of Mercy Wellness Center and The East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) Dental Clinic.

In some cases, as with glass ionomer, the number of disadvantages is equivalent to its benefits, and although amalgam has been relied upon for years as a core build-up material, research indicates that its drawbacks are outweighed by its assets.5-8 As a solution, composite resins are becoming a popular choice as a core build-up material for endodontically treated teeth. This article demonstrates the use of a bulk-fill composite resin and how its many advantages allow the clinician to complete two different types of procedures in one visit.
