- Dr Alistair Lindsay is an interventional cardiology fellow at Royal Brompton Hospital. He joined in 2010 from the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he was the Radcliffe Cardiovascular Fellow.
Dr Lindsay's main research interest is the use of both invasive and non-invasive techniques to characterise atherosclerosis and vascular disease. In particular he has experience in the use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and optical coherence tomography (OCT) to assess vascular disease. He has participated in both local and international studies on the diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis.
