Any Diabetics Also On Dialysis?? - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “Hi all. Well I am 30 years old, have been a Type I Diabetic since the age of 16. I've been on Dialysis now for a little over 9 months. I have had to struggle with many Diabetic related Complications over the last 14 years but going on Dialysis I thought was definitely the end of the world. But it only took me a few months to realize that it was not. I am amazed at how much better I feel these days. My regular MD told me from the first day they told me in ICU that I was going to have to do DialysView full resource at tudiabetes.org

Lows are the pits - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.com — “Yowza. I woke up at 2:30 this morning and my BS was 50. I think I ate everything but the kitchen sink. I had been having really bad dreams for awhile and finally woke myself up when I realized what it was. It wiped me out for the entire day. There are a lot of things about diabetes that are tough, but for me, dealing with lows tops the list. I think it just might be the worst feeling in the world. I try not to go crazy and overeat when I have them, but I have what you might call a Dr. Jekyll/MsView full resource at tudiabetes.com

Tomorrow is World Diabetes Day - WEGO Health

community.wegohealth.com — “November 14, 2009 is World Diabetes Day. What is World Diabetes Day? It's celebrated in over 160 countries and this years theme is prevention and education . What can you do to support those with diabetes and get the word out?: 1. Go blue. This suggestion may be a bit extreme, but you can wear blue tomorrow (as little or as much as you want) to support those with diabetes. 2. From Diabetesaliciousness, spread the word about what it is like to live with diabetes. And not just tomorrow. Spread theView full resource at community.wegohealth.com

Give something up for World Diabetes Day - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.com — “Oh yes World Diabetes Day is here!!! November 14th to be exact. It’s not really a holiday I celebrate in with cake and candles. Nor do I celebrate it with my family, over a nice Italian dinner, or with conversation and opening gifts. Too bad, I would really like that. But I did do something different last year and I thought I would stick to it each year on World Diabetes Day. I am going to give up something for myself… some would say Dietetically Benefit Me! Last year I gave up Bagels. YupView full resource at tudiabetes.com
