$1.4M Grant to UMDNJ to Study Impact of Massage on Osteoarthritis
UMDNJ has received a $1.4 million research grant to determine the optimal dosing regimen of massage that benefits patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. The R01 research grant is through the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine and is provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which was signed into law in February to help stem the current economic crisis.
